Aiko

For the short Japanese-themed film AIKO, I handled the mixing and mastering focusing on creating a clear, balanced, and immersive soundscape that supports the story. Using classic mixing techniques,i balanced frequency ranges, controlled dynamics with compression and carefully panned elements to create depth and spatial clarity.

Dialogue editing was a key focus, ensuring each line was clean, intelligible, and emotionally expressive. I used techniques such as noise reduction, EQ to enhance vocal clarity, de-essing to remove harsh consonants, and careful leveling to maintain consistency throughout the film.

During mastering i polished the overall mix and adjusted tonal balance and loudness while preserving the dynamic range essential for cinematic impact.

The result is a cohesive audio experience where music, dialogue, and sound design blend seamlessly, enhancing both emotion and narrative flow.
